ACUPUNCTURE AND TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE
Based on 5,000-year-old medicine, acupuncture is the practice of placing slender sterile needles into energetic points along meridians to regulate Qi (energy) in the body. Chinese Herbal Medicine also aids in body balancing.
Insurance:
We are now contracted with United Healthcare as an out of network provider. To find out about your insurance benefits please call the number on the back of your card and ask the following questions:
- Will my policy cover acupuncture?
- If so, how many visits are covered per calendar year?
- What is the copayment or coinsurance, if any?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, how much of it has been met?
- What are my acupuncture benefits for in network versus out of network providers?
- Does acupuncture coverage only apply for certain conditions? If so, what conditions?
What if my insurance does not cover acupuncture?
If you have an HSA or FSA account, you can use it to pay for acupuncture treatments. We are happy to provide itemized receipts for HSA or FSA purposes.
For those not able to use insurance or HSA, we do offer affordable rates for payment at time of service so that patients can afford to get the amount of care they need. We accept all major credit cards and cash as forms of payment. Additionally, we do offer package discounts.
Bio Energetic Synchronization Techniques (B.E.S.T.)
B.E.S.T is a gentle healing system developed by Dr. M.T. Morter, Jr. It addresses stress and promotes balance in the body, including the nervous, muscular, circulatory, digestive, and hormonal systems. When a system is out of balance, it creates a pattern of physical, emotional, and chemical symptoms. When in balance, the brain, organs, and nervous system all work in harmony.
